Ingenious Young Entrepreneurs Hard at Work in Ditmas Park!

I came across these two entrepreneurial prodigies on E. 18th Street selling their newly invented "Blackjack Juice" - a well-tested mix of orange & cranberry juices with a splash of seltzer water!

Forget the gourmet coffee at Conn. Muffin. or the champagne at Pomme de Terre. The real thirst-quencher is found at the youngster’s local stand.

I'll have a Power Drink (with butterfly "W").

There seems to be some illegible editorial comment on the sign that begins:

"Warning: Chrus (or is it 'citrus'?) never offer/other (something) ..."

Thanks for commenting, Flatbush Gardener! I love your blog.

I can clarify (as the mom of these two shop-keepers) - it says "Warning: Citrus" (because one of our grandfathers is allergic to citrus) and the next phrase is an advertising slogan "Nectar of the Gods."

If the kids want the big bucks, we'll have to move to a busier spot. We had a lot of time between customers, so mostly we played with the dog and caught up with some overdue weeding.
