John Foley, a DC 37 member and Off-Track Betting clerk displays his recently received pink slip. He is one of 1,300 workers who are facing unemployment as a result of the possible demise of NYC's beloved OTB. At present, the New York City Off- Track Betting Corp. is set to close it's doors on June 16th.

Yet negotiations continue as union leaders urge State Assembly members to save the jobs of OTB employees.

More to follow within the next few weeks. In the meantime, lobbyist's are working long and hard to keep OTB alive.
